摘要(Abstract):Hamiltonian is one of the most familiar quantities in physics. It has the meaning of both the energy of the system and the generator of the time evolution. In the method of "shortcuts to adiabaticity”, we design the Hamiltonian so that the state achieves an ideal time evolution. Generally, the Hamiltonian can be decomposed into two parts, each can be interpreted the energy and the generator respectively. We discuss some fundamental properties, such as the relations to quantum brachistochrone, Lax pair, information geometry, quantum speed limit, and Hamiltonian flow, and also discuss some applications including Landau-Zener transition, adiabatic pumping, and quantum annealing.
